If you enjoyed the recent Atelier Sophie 2, you may want to get caught up on the games leading up to it by grabbing the Mysterious Trilogy pack. Samurai Warriors 5 and Blue Reflection Second Light are both good games that are fairly recent as Koei Tecmo stuff goes. After I came back from getting my vaccine shot to finish this, some new sales from Koei Tecmo had popped up. When I started writing this today, the list of new sales was somewhat dire. The visuals have gotten some improvements over the mobile version, but don’t go expecting Microsoft Flight Simulator here or anything, okay? I think it’s actually fairly decent for what it is. It’s a port of a rather money-hungry mobile game, letting you get your hands on all twenty airplanes, twenty-one airports, and fifty missions for one flat price. Too bad, eh? No, it’s just another kick at the whole affordable flight simulator can. Take Off – The Flight Simulator ($14.99)Īlas, this game carries no endorsement whatsoever from Bob and Doug McKenzie. It’s nice to have it here for those who want a more permanent solution, at least. It’s a fun game with an appealing presentation, but I’m once again forced to gesture in the direction of Apple Arcade if you don’t mind playing on your mobile device. You’ll have to engage in chases, battle bosses, and do various other spy things to complete each level. You play as the driver of a super-cool spy car that can transform from a stylish roadster to a high-powered speedboat as the situation calls for it. PikPok’s auto-driving Apple Arcade riff on the classic Spy Hunter makes its way to the Nintendo Switch with this release. Five bucks isn’t a whole lot to gamble if you’re feeling more charitable than I am, at least. Maybe this has something special up its sleeve, but I’m not seeing it. This is a puzzle platformer played in a world of silhouettes. Well, someone clearly had a good time with Limbo. We’ve got plenty to play this year anyway. Well, the development team needs a touch more time with it, so the release date has been moved to Spring of 2023. Up until now, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild was penciled in for a vague 2022 release, with most of us assuming it would come pretty late in the year if at all. I wish it was happy news, but at the very least I can say it isn’t surprising news. A little news came in yesterday just after I went home for the evening, as is wont to happen with Nintendo news.
